General Labourer – Heavy Industrial Steel Yard We are seeking reliable and physically fit General Labourers to join a busy heavy industrial steel yard. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, steel, construction, or labour-intensive environments. This is NOT a warehouse pick-packing role. Applicants without relevant heavy labour experience will not be considered. About the Role
- Hand wiring and strapping steel products
- Hanging steel components onto hooks for dipping/coating processes
- Repetitive manual handling of heavy steel products
- Working outdoors and within designated yard sections
- Assisting with general production and labouring duties
- Occasional forklift operation where licensed Mandatory Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have previous experience in:
- Steel yards, Manufacturing, Construction and Heavy industrial environments
- OR physically demanding labouring roles
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Experience handling steel, long products, or heavy materials
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual handling
- Strong safety awareness and reliable work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Willingness to complete online inductions prior to commencement Shift Details
- Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 1pm-9pm
- Walk-around/site assessment required prior to commencement
