Chef/Cook Manager (Bellbird Park)

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef / Cook Manager to join our busy Fish & Chips food truck. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment, has strong cooking and fryer experience, and can confidently manage daily operations, stocktake and staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Cooking and preparing menu items to a high standard
- Operating commercial fryers and kitchen equipment
- Managing stocktake and inventory control
- Ordering stock and supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Supervising and managing staff
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the van
- Delivering excellent customer service during busy service periods Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Strong cooking knowledge and kitchen management skills
- Fryer experience is essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Must hold a valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Reliable and punctual with a robust work ethic
- Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday What We Offer:
