In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the development of new products and enhancing existing ones, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge ideas to life. **Hours of Work**: This part-time position offers 15 hours per week. Starting on a Monday and Tuesday during the training period and then moving to Tuesday and Thursday. **As a Research & Development Assistant, you will**: Create and test new recipes, understanding how processing methods and ingredients impact the final product. Work with the Innovation Team and other departments (Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain) to support new product development. Review and recommend improvements to taste, color, and texture of new and existing products. Support factory trials and first production launches, including capturing data and supporting the completion of any required documentation Ensure the R&D; test kitchen is well stocked and organised. **Skills and Experiences**: **To thrive in this role, you will have**: Ideally, experience working in a food manufacturing environment, particularly in QA or R&D.; Ability to work effectively with different teams across the business. Strong focus and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in product development and trials. Ability to clearly communicate ideas, updates, and results with team members and other departments.
