- **Material Controller**:

- **Key Responsibilities**- Execute material control processes and raise purchase orders
- Coordinate with Logistics on inventory levels, lot sizes, and stocking policies
- Monitor MRP orders and expedite to meet customer requirements
- Track late supplier orders and manage inventory to minimize obsolescence
- Alert Production Planner of potential part shortages
- Collaborate with Quality and Purchasing on product issues and returns
- Provide timely delivery status updates to stakeholders
- Support New Product Introductions and product changes
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Policy and Workplace Health & Safety- ** Authority** Per VGA Authorisation Policy
- ** Other Responsibilities** **Health & Safety**: Maintain safe work environment, report hazards/incidents immediately, wear required safety equipment, attend safety training, promote team wellbeing **Risk Management & Compliance**: Identify and manage material risks, implement controls, ensure legislative compliance, communicate changes, foster risk-aware culture
- ** Who are you?**:

- **Qualifications & Experience**-
- Working knowledge of material control including MRP and JIT systems
- Sound computer skills, in particular Microsoft Office
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability of initiative
