About the Role:
Sun Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Practitioner to join our Head Office in Carole Park. This role will be managing our QA/QC department, providing a high level of expertise in auditing, quality standards and document control.
Sun Engineering performs construction work across a number of industries including mining, piping, oil and gas as well as general building and infrastructure, in addition to this, Sun engineering is a steel fabrication business, Sun would therefore be seeking an experienced QA Practitioner who has relevant experience across these broad fields.
The incumbent in this role will be mainly based at our Carole Park head office, but would from time to time fly to projects for short periods to ensure Quality outcomes.
Requirements of this position:
Experience with Steel Fabrication, SMP Construction projects and Piping
Prepared to visit project operations from time to time
Internal and External auditing experience with ISO 9001
Welding Inspector qualifications highly beneficial
Working knowledge of 1554 standard
Knowledge of API standards would be beneficial
Sound knowledge of TMR standards
High level of Document Control experience
Knowledge of compiling MDRs
Experience in ITP development
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality outcomes
Management experience
