Gemini Wacol is a large repair shop in the western corridors of Brisbane (just off the Ipswich Motorway) with ample opportunity for career progression and long-term employment. The solid team of 26 work well together in a modern, well-equipped shop — including high-end welders and side-loading spray booths.
**The Opportunity**: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop/ Production Manager to join the team in Gemini Wacol.
Permanent position. Monday to Friday.

You will be supporting the Centre Manager and managing and guiding production staff within the workshop.

**Role responsibilities**:
- Ensure the site remains a safe working environment for all staff
- Process vehicles upon arrival
- Assist with the ordering and receipting of parts, paint and consumables
- Manage the repair process to ensure timely, cost effective quality repairs are carried out
- Manage the production of the site to meet the set productivity targets and customer expectations
- Assist in the management of the site to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
- Oversee the housekeeping within the workshop

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to set and adhere to deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
