**About the Role**

Predominantly based in West Brisbane the Business Manager role is both strategic and operational. Reporting directly to the State Operations Manager (SOM) this position is pivotal in driving operational outcomes, identified through strategic initiatives, across North Brisbane, West Brisbane and Gold Coast branches with day-to-day support from the Branch Managers and SOM.

The industry is forever changing, with this in mind you will thrive in both reactive and proactive environments.

Some key aspects of the role include:

- Execution of strategic plans to ensure the business delivers meets KPI's and operates within the national framework
- Ensure day to day business activities are running effectively and liaison with internal departments including Branches, Sales, HR, Compliance to drive business performance, efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Establish operating disciplines, data led decisions and lead a positive workplace culture
- Provide technical, logístical and operational support to your stakeholders
- Review data, in particular branch key performance indicators and develop solutions and strategies to drive performance
- Analyse and forecast trends in residential construction industry
- Workforce planning and infrastructure in line with growth plans
- Empower and motivate the team to achieve a shared sense of vision and promotion of Buildsafe Core Values retention and people growth
- Coach and manage your team

**About You**

Having gained experience in construction management, operations, account management or similar, you are a natural leader and value strong relationships.

You will have:

- The ability to demonstrate agility and adaptability
- Strong business acumen
- High level customer service and stakeholder management/engagement skills
