You’ll play a key role in the maintenance and construction of water and sewerage infrastructure across the Goondiwindi Region. Key Responsibilities Carry out general labouring duties within Water and Sewerage reticulation and operational areas as directed. Perform routine inspections of infrastructure and undertake associated maintenance tasks. Identify faults or operational issues and provide recommendations to the Supervisor for corrective action. Participate in the on‑call roster and respond to after‑hours emergencies when required. Complete all training necessary for the effective performance of the role. Perform other duties as directed by the Manager, Technical Officer, or Supervisor – Water and Sewerage. Pay & Conditions Level 2: $ p.a. to Level 3: $ p.a. Additional allowances apply, including on‑call and overtime when worked. Pay rates are in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and the Queensland Local Government Industry Award – State 2017 .
