Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Management Consultant to assess and improve our business operations, including areas such as HR, marketing, finance, and patient care. The goal is to develop an industry-leading veterinary hospital model that can be shared with other professionals, providing an additional revenue stream through training and consultancy services.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business coaching, management consulting, or business development.
- Proven experience in developing and scaling business operations.
- Expertise in HR, finance, marketing, and operational systems.
- Strong public speaking and training delivery skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement bespoke business solutions.
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by veterinary practices is an advantage.
Key
**Responsibilities**: 1. Organisational Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Assess the business's current operational framework, including HR, finance, marketing, and patient care.
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, and design tailored strategies for sustainable growth and enhanced service delivery.
- Develop and implement business models that align with the hospital’s goals and industry standards.
2. Business Operations Optimisation:
- Conduct detailed reviews of work objectives, operational methods, and procedures.
- Formulate and implement improved workflows, revised job functions, and enhanced systems to address organisational challenges.
3. Staff Development and Workforce Management:
- Use behavioural profiling tools to evaluate team alignment and skill utilisation.
- Establish new key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement training programs to upskill staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage stress and improve mental health within the team, addressing the demands of veterinary practice.
4. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Design recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals from local and international markets.
- Establish criteria to mitigate skills shortages in the veterinary sector.
5. Patient Experience Enhancement:
- Develop systems to optimise the client journey, ensuring consistent and excellent patient care from initial contact to follow-up.
- Monitor and improve processes that directly impact patient satisfaction and retention.
6. Business Development and Revenue Growth:
- Create and execute a sales plan for the dissemination of the developed business model.
- Generate an additional revenue stream by training other veterinary professionals in the bespoke model.
- Represent the hospital at conferences and industry events to promote the model and its benefits.
7. Public Speaking and Training Delivery:
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to share best practices with other veterinary professionals.
- Build Kanwal Veterinary Hospital’s reputation as an industry leader in operational efficiency and patient care.
8. Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including manuals, processes, and training materials.
- Regularly report on progress, challenges, and outcomes to the management team.
