- **The Supervision (Employer and Provider) directorate is seeking applicants for role of Assistant Advisor, Supervision in an ongoing capacity.**
**About the team**
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA). SIRA is responsible for regulating three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This Assistant Advisor role sits within the Supervision (Employer and Provider) and is responsible for regulating health providers in the NSW Workers Compensation and motor accidents scheme.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Update organisational databases, record enquiries and recommendations to ensure the available of information to support effective business reporting.
- Maintain currency with established procedures and policy, make recommendation to contribute to optimal service delivery.
- Provide project and operational support including monitoring project plan, milestones and deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through new ideas and identification of opportunities to improve efficiency of work processes and the implementation of changes in service delivery. **- About you**:
- An organised go-getter with a keen eye for detail and appreciation of governance.
- Someone with an analytical passion who can think outside the box to solve challenges and improve business processes.
- A fast learner with a high level of Office 365 proficiency (in particular, Excel and MS Teams capability), and an ability to pick up new software.
- A strong team player who can adjust their ways of working and adapt to suit a variety of stakeholders.
- Calm under pressure and works diligently within deadlines.
