About The Role

BMD is delivering key electrical works as part of the Charmhaven Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project. This role offers the opportunity to be site‑based and directly involved in the delivery of critical HV and LV electrical infrastructure within a multidisciplinary construction environment. As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will support the engineering and supervisory team to ensure the safe, effective and high‑quality delivery of electrical works on site. You will play a key role in coordinating construction activities, managing documentation, supporting commercial processes and ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities Support delivery of electrical works to programme, quality and safety targets Maintain solid knowledge of drawings, specifications and site requirements Assist with coordination of HV and LV equipment and cable installations Monitor construction progress and support programme updates Coordinate procurement to align with construction sequencing Support subcontractor management and monthly progress claims Assist with variations, extensions of time and delay tracking Maintain site records, daily diaries and quality documentation Coordinate civil and electrical interfaces for underground services

About You Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Experience delivering electrical works on infrastructure projects Understanding of HV and LV equipment and installations Strong communication and coordination skills Proactive, safety‑focused and team‑oriented approach Willingness to travel if required
