Recruiter – Trades & Engineering Somersby

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Recruiter to join our team supporting Crossmuller. This is an in office role based in Somersby (5 days per week) and a great chance for a junior recruiter or coordinator to build their career in a fast-paced industrial environment, focusing on high-volume hiring.

Key Responsibilities Supporting recruitment for roles including electricians, fitters, CNC machinists, plumbers, carpenters, civil operators, and labour-based positions. Sourcing candidates via job boards, referrals, and local outreach Screening candidates for site readiness, tickets/licences, and cultural fit Coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication Completing compliance checks (tickets, white cards, right-to-work, etc.) Building candidate pipelines to support ongoing project demands

About You Previous recruitment, coordination, or administrative experience (recruitment experience highly regarded but not essential) Interest in trades, manufacturing, or engineering environments Solid organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Confident communicator with good stakeholder skills Willingness to learn and develop in a recruitment career High attention to detail and a proactive approach
