About the role We have a newly purpose‑built facility dedicated to supporting women experiencing homelessness. Catherine House offers a safe, supportive setting where women can rebuild their lives, regain their independence, and rediscover their identity. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering women to achieve their goals and overcome complex life challenges. You will deliver person‑centred support that encourages and educates women to make informed decisions based on their individual needs. You will also provide emotional support, helping to build resilience, confidence, and a sense of stability during their journey toward independence. This role is a maximum‑term, part‑time contract of 58 hours per fortnight, commencing immediately and concluding on 31 March 2027. - Friday: 4pm
- 10pm (sleepover from 10pm-6am), Saturday: 4pm
- 10pm (sleepover from 10pm-6am) About you You have a kind and caring nature that fosters strong, trusting relationships. Your strengths lie within your compassion and genuine desire to help others. You have the resilience and sensitivity to work with vulnerable women with complex needs and heightened emotions.
- Certificate III in Community Services is desirable
- Experience working with vulnerable people in residential settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work shifts across a 24‑hour roster
- Driver's licence
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
