About This Position A rare opportunity exists for a motivated IT support professional to join our dynamic IT Service Delivery Team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and high‑quality technical support to a diverse range of staff across all levels of the organisation. As the face of our Information Services branch, you will play a key role providing both Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support. City employees work across a variety of locations – from busy libraries and our Civic Centre to the Operations Centre and mechanical workshops – offering a varied and engaging work environment where no two days will look the same. What We Are Looking For To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in providing frontline IT support for end user devices and software
- High level of communication skills, and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people
- Ability to think strategically in order to deliver creative solutions
- Proven ability to multi‑task effectively, under minimal supervision Essential Requirements
- Current driver’s licence.
- Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition. Desirable Requirements
- Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems / Information Technology.
- Exposure to the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) IT service delivery framework.
