Optical Retail & Clinical Support Assistant Part time | Retail, Patient Care & Clinical Skills in One Role Not every optical role is the same. This is an prospect to work across eyewear styling, patient care, reception and clinical support within a supportive practice that values learning and development. The Role This is a genuinely varied position where you’ll move between patient interaction, optical retail, reception and clinical support throughout the day.
- Frame styling and lens recommendations
- Reception and appointment coordination
- Supporting the Optometrists and wider team
- Creating a positive, child-friendly patient experience
- Learning clinical pre-testing including OCT, retinal imaging, visual fields and pressure testing About You Whether your background is in optical, retail, healthcare or customer service, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is eager to continue learning and developing their skills.

- Friday: 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
