Packaging Machine Assistant/operator (Dandenong)

Oji Cardboard Carton Solutions, part of the rapidly expanding global Oji Group, specialises in the manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions. Our Dandenong South plant produces plain and litho printed corrugated cartons which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of our customer’s products
- some of which include: wine and fruit boxes, point of sale displays, shelf ready, heavy duty and multi component cartons.

Initially working alongside the Key Operator, you will be responsible for assisting in setting up all aspects of the packaging machinery in a timely and accurate manner; prepare tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick change-over; keep the work area clean; machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance; perform in-process quality checks; stack bundles; and assist the team to ensure the machinery runs at its optimum performance.
