**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development, implementation, and compliance of the Science curriculum for Years 7-12.
- Provide direction to the Laboratory Technician Leader in their management of the team, supplies, safety procedures and processes to support the effective operation of the department
- Work in collaboration with other Learning Leaders where Technician staff are shared across teams to plan staff resourcing and prioritizing tasks
- Oversee Science specialist facilities across the college including resourcing and scheduling
- Facilitate and support the ongoing risk minimization strategies overseen by the Laboratory Technician Leader

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Relevant teaching qualification and registration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role or capacity.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide feedback, support, and mentorship to teachers.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using insights for targeted professional development.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
