Growth Manager – ACT and Southern NSW Touch Football Australia Location: Canberra / Southern NSW, Australia Employment: Full Time Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum + car/car allowance Expiring: 1 Jun 2026 Description Employed by TFA and working collaboratively with NSW Touch Football, the Growth Manager – ACT and Southern NSW is responsible for the operational delivery of Touch Football across the Australian Capital Territory and Southern NSW, driving participation growth, building affiliate capability and delivering sustainable competition programmes aligned with the ACT and Southern NSW State Action Plan. Reporting to the General Manager – Growth & Innovation, this role leads a team of coordinators to activate player, coach and referee pathways and ensures Touch Football is accessible, inclusive and thriving across the region. This role strengthens relationships with key stakeholders including the ACT Government, Canberra Raiders, NSW Touch Football, West South West Suns and local affiliates. Touch Football Australia (TFA) is the national governing body for Touch Football in Australia. TFA has a strategic alliance with the National Rugby League (NRL) and operates in alignment with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), working collaboratively with State and Territory partners to deliver the sport from grassroots to elite. As part of TFA's strategic plan "The Next Play" (2026‑2032), TFA is committed to delivering cutting-edge, participation‑focused strategies that grow the game at grassroots and elite levels. Essential Requirements
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Drivers licence
- Experience in sport development, community sport management, or regional leadership roles
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance. Desirable Criteria
- Sports Management / Business Degree
- Knowledge and understanding of Touch Football
- Experience working in cross‑border or regional sport structures and collaborating with state or territory sporting organisations
- Experience managing staff and leading teams
- Experience with grant applications and funding acquittals
