About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Site Operations Manager – Leeton is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Production, Property, Plant, Maintenance, Logistics, and Fruit Receival. This senior leadership role provides strategic direction and accountability across safety, quality, delivery, cost management, efficiency, waste reduction, labour, and materials to ensure optimal site performance.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic oversight to support site growth and increasing production volumes
Lead, coach, and develop leaders and teams to achieve operational objectives
Drive a solid safety‑first culture and ensure WH&S; systems, inductions, and training are embedded
Maintain food safety, export certification, and GMP compliance standards
Monitor and improve KPIs including labour efficiency, throughput, overtime, inventory, and site performance
Identify performance gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Act as the primary operational contact for internal stakeholders, growers, and external partners
Contribute to broader business strategy and performance as part of the senior leadership team
About You
Proven management experience within fresh produce processing, packing, or food manufacturing
Robust strategic capability with the ability to lead teams through change
Sound knowledge of food safety, GMP, and operational compliance requirements
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
Confident using operational data, reporting, and ERP systems to drive performance
Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
