Position: Breeder Farm Assistant / Relief Manager

Responsibilities Act as Relief Manager in the absence of the Farm Manager, achieving maximum productivity and liveability for the breeder farm as measured against agreed key performance indicators. Ensure all work is carried out according to Baiada safety standards and policies. Supervise other areas of the breeder farm as agreed with the Farm Manager. Work within Baiada standards and induce minimum operating standard, including: SQF Quality systems Biosecurity Procedures Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Workplace Injury Management System Chain or Responsibility (CoR)

Required Skill and Experience Proven animal husbandry skills Knowledge of quality systems, WHS and EMS policies and procedures Knowledge of CoR requirements Experience in the poultry industry, specifically breeder farming Undertake Certificate III in Poultry Production qualification (if required) Team player Positive communication skills Genuine concern for welfare of stock

Pay: $79,499.00 – $80,000.00 per year
