Retail Store Manager (Caroona)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our integrated café /restaurant, and fuel station. This is a hands on leadership role responsible for staff management, customer service, compliance, and overall store performance. Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations across the cafe/restaurant, and fuel station, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Lead and supervise staff including rostering, training, performance monitoring, and maintaining service standards.
• Oversee food and beverage operations ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ensure fuel station compliance including safety procedures, environmental standards, and forecourt operations.
• Manage inventory and stock control for food, beverages, convenience items, and fuel.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Maintain WHS and safety compliance across all areas of the business.
• Handle financial administration including cash handling, banking, and expense control.
• Coordinate with suppliers for stock, fuel deliveries, and maintenance services.
• Prepare operational reports for senior management. Skills & Experience Required
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a retail, hospitality, or fuel station management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience managing staff in a quick paced, multi service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, fuel safety, and WHS regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong organisational and problem solving abilities.
• Diploma/Degree in relevant field.
