- $95,000 plus Super MELBOURNE ELITE PLUMBING High-end construction logistics role | Premium service delivery setting We are seeking a highly organised and operationally driven Supply & Distribution Manager to support our growing portfolio of high-quality plumbing and construction projects across Melbourne. This role is critical to ensuring seamless site delivery, precise inventory control, and efficient movement of equipment and materials across multiple active job sites. You will play a key role in maintaining the standards expected of a premium construction operation — where timing, accuracy, and presentation matter. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily supply, logistics, and equipment distribution across active sites
- Maintain a high-standard, fully operational factory/workshop environment
- Coordinate timely delivery of tools, materials, and equipment to site teams
- Ensure crews are properly equipped to meet programme and project requirements
- Oversee structured stock takes and cycle counts conducted by operational staff
- Review, verify, and reconcile inventory reports with a high level of accuracy
- Manage servicing, calibration, and repair scheduling for all plant and equipment
- Coordinate delivery of oxy/acetylene bottles between supplier (Supa Gas), factory, and sites
- Liaise closely with office and project teams to provide advice, monitoring and feedback on overall logistics to make improvements and meet demand
- Maintain presentation and operational readiness of company vehicle
- Assist with loading and unloading of plant and equipment
- Conduct general inspection and upkeep of tools, machinery, and site equipment
- Determine and implement strategies and policies for purchasing, storage and distribution of goods
- Maintain recording system to track distribution/inventory of goods to site
- Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing to meet quality, cost & budget requirements Role Overview In this management position you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling company supply and distribution, including directing staff and overseeing all logistics activities. You will be responsible for ensuring systems, stock control processes, and logistics workflows are executed to a consistently high standard by site and operational teams. You are the central point ensuring that materials, equipment, and resources are always in the right place — on time and to specification — supporting a high-performing construction environment. About You
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in logistics, construction operations, plumbing, or trade-based environments
- Strong organisational capability with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage people, stock systems and operational workflows
- Confident coordinating across multiple teams and priorities
- Practical, hands-on mindset with strong accountability
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Bobcat, Excavator & Scissor ticket essential Forklift or machinery handling experience highly regarded What We Offer
