We are seeking an experienced and friendly part-time Medical Receptionist with strong face to face and phone customer service and computer skills to join our dedicated team at the Casey Children's Clinic located in Narre Warren. As our Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff. What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Managing the clinic's appointment calendar and scheduling patient appointments
- Handling patient inquiries and addressing their needs in a timely and empathetic manner
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting with the processing of medical billing and payments
- Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times
- Providing general administrative support to the clinical team as required What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role within a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with patients of all ages
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of medical practice management software and MS Office applications
- A warm, friendly and professional demeanor with a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service
- Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures What we offer
