Traffic Management Designer (Hallam)

**About the Job**

ITrafic traffic management and labor hire are seeking a full time planner / operations staff member

Salary negotiable based on experience with plenty of opportunities for advancement and cross training available.

**As a Traffic Management Planner you will**:

- Develop and review Traffic Guidance Schemes & Traffic Management Plans in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Discuss job-specific traffic control requirements with clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications and document controls.
- Consult with all relevant stakeholders including clients, staff, road authorities, local councils, police, public transport services.
- Ensure all plans are accurate and completed efficiently and on time every time.
- Assist in operations daily tasks.

**To be successful you will need to have the following**:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Traffic Management Planner/Designer (Desirable but not essential).
- Prepare traffic management plans and guidance schemes **RIICWD503E.**:

- Construction White Card.
- C Class Drivers Licence and reliable transport.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Previous experience with Rapid Plan preferred.
- Strong computer literacy with Excel knowledge.
- High level of attention to detail and well organized
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with an ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines/due dates.
- Conduct job analysis, hazard identification, risk assessment as part of preparing Traffic Management Plans.
- Prepare quality Traffic Management Plans in accordance with the AGTTM, Code of Practice & AS 1742.
- Ensure all relevant Permits are obtained and forwarded to the clients in a timely manner.
