Warehouse Assistant Hallam

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Receiving Items: Receive incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries. Verify received items against purchase orders or invoices.

Testing Procedures: Conduct quality checks and testing procedures on received items as per company standards. This may involve basic assembly, functional testing, or other relevant procedures.

Rack Placement: Safely and efficiently place items onto designated racks or shelves. Organize warehouse space to optimize storage and accessibility.

Stock Take: Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records. Reconcile discrepancies and report any inventory issues to the supervisor.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of received items, testing results, and inventory movements. Update inventory management systems and databases accurately and in a timely manner.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse environment. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to ensure a safe working setting for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management tasks.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of computers and laptops is preffered but not required

Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates within a warehouse setting.

May require standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
