Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Provide personal assistance and support to clients in daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and household tasks Assist clients with their mobility and communication needs Support community participation and social interaction Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household tasks Follow and implement individualised support plans Follow therapy plans and provide direct support and assistance to therapists. Build solid, supportive relationships with clients Work collaboratively with the wider team and report changes in client’s condition to management Engage in meaningful activities and support clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life Foster a safe, supportive, positive and respectful environment that enhances the well-being and independence of participants Skills and Requirements To be considered, you will need: Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) And/or at least 1 year of experience in disability support NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid and CPR Police Check (within the last 6 months) Valid Australian driver’s licence Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance Key Qualities Strong commitment to person-centred care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach Ability to work independently and adapt to different client needs Why Work With Us? -Make a real difference in people’s lives -Supportive and collaborative team -Opportunities for development and growth -Competitive pay plus superannuation -Care to Heal encourages applications from people of all abilities and backgrounds.
