Laboratory Technician (Hallam)

Haemokinesis, Australia's leading manufacturer of blood transfusion diagnostic instruments, is looking for a Laboratory Technician (Casual) for an upcoming project.

**Main duties**
- Perform validation testing on Haemokinesis blood grouping systems.
- Processing human blood samples.
- Preparing reagents and solutions as required for testing.
- Pipetting reagents and sample specimens into blood grouping devices.
- Running blood grouping centrifuges and incubators.
- Reading images on blood grouping readers.
- Running automated blood grouping analysers.
- Data entry of blood grouping results.
- Cleaning laboratory equipment and laboratory area.
- Other tasks as directed.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree or diploma in medical laboratory science or equivalent.
- Experience in immunohaematology techniques.

- Able to meet deadlines.
- Robust ability to analyse test results and identify discrepancies.

Pay: $32.89 per hour

Expected hours: 20
- 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
