Electrical Engineer (Hallam)

Job Info Location: DANDENONG EAST, VIC Salary: Award Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Client: We, Heinemann Electric Pty Ltd Trading as CBI-electric, based in Dandenong South, VIC are a long-established national business building main switchboards, distribution boards, GMPs and temporary power boards as well as turnkey projects. We are currently going through a high growth stage with expansion plans. Role: There is an immediate requirement for a suitably qualified Electrical Engineer to work as part of a large team. You will need to be a team player and be able to work autonomously within the company structure. This is a full time position working in switchboard assembly. Position will be for an immediate start. - Design and develop electrical power and distribution systems.
- Configure circuits, transformers, switchgear and electrical equipment.
- Review project drawings, specifications and scope requirements.
- Develop electrical components, control systems and switchboards.
- Ensure compliance with AS 61439 and AS 3000 standards.
- Assess supplier quotations and select suitable components.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, suppliers and production teams.
- Coordinate resources, deliveries and installation schedules.
- Supervise testing, operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support project conversions. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in electrical estimation will be an advantage Salary: AUD 76,750
