Sales Consultant – Transportable Living Solutions Location: Hamilton North, NSW Employment Type: Full Time Shipping Container Services Australia (SCS) is looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Hamilton North NSW. We specialise in transportable living solutions and shipping containers, and many more transportable products, and custom-built spaces. With demand continuing to grow, we are seeking someone who is confident, qualified, and passionate about helping customers find the right solution for their needs. About the Role This is a full-time position based at our Hamilton North display site and office. You will be working directly with customers, answering enquiries, preparing quotes, and guiding clients through the sales process from initial contact through to order placement. Full product and industry training will be provided, including training on our building range, site requirements, council processes, and general Development Application (DA) pathways relevant to portable and transportable buildings. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with enquiries both in person, over the phone, and online
- Preparing quotations and following up leads
- Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products
- Maintaining strong product knowledge across our building range
- Working closely with the operations and administration team
- Managing customer relationships professionally and efficiently
- Assisting with display inspections and site presentations
- Advising on Council regulations and DA legislation About You We are preferably seeking someone with previous sales experience, ideally within:
- Shipping Containers
- Construction or building industry
- Caravans, sheds, transportable buildings, or similar industries The ideal applicant will have:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in closing sales and following up leads
- A professional and positive attitude
- Good computer and administration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence Position Details
- Full-time role
- Monday to Friday
- Every second Saturday required
