The purpose of this role is to maintain all mobile and fixed plant equipment safely and cost-effectively to minimise downtime and prevent injury at our Hampton Park site. Reporting to our Brooklyn-based Maintenance Manager, you will be operating as the primary maintenance lead at this site. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile and fixed plant and equipment, including undertaking metal fabrication
- Manage supplies, parts, equipment and inventory
- Assist the Maintenance Manager and Site Supervisor to ensure issues identified through daily plant checklists, monthly site inspections, and additional issues raised by third parties are addressed in a timely manner
- Attend to breakdowns promptly, including after-hours work
- Ensure compliance with JSEAs and statutory obligations, and prepare task-specific JSEAs
- Proactively contribute to a high-performing team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, reporting all incidents/near misses and taking action where required

- Significant relevant experience in a relevant industry, a minimum of 3 years would be ideal
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
