The company: Barra Steel (Vic) Pty Ltd is a privately owned and operated company with over 30 years’ experience in structural steel fabrication. We work in close partnership with clients in the commercial and residential building sector with job sites all over Melbourne. Our Head Office and Workshop are based in Dandenong South. We are experiencing continuous growth and are looking to expand our team! The role: We are seeking Boilermakers with heavy structural steel fabrication experience, a safety-first attitude, who are interested in a long-term position within our company. The successful candidate will be working alongside our team of highly skilled Boilermakers to provide service and customer satisfaction to our clients. Qualifications & experience:
- Boilermaker (essential)
- Fabrication of heavy structural steel (essential)
- Overhead crane usage (essential)
- Understanding of detailed engineering drawings (essential)
- Mig welding
- Working unsupervised
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
