Purpose We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector / QA Officer to join our manufacturing team. Reporting directly to the Quality Department Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet both company and customer quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working closely with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Accountabilities
- Conduct ongoing product quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Perform measurements and analysis of sample and production parts using general measuring equipment and Faro equipment.
- Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical standards, and customer requirements.
- Prepare Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) for customer submissions.
- Identify quality issues, provide feedback to production teams, and assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Generate quality documentation and reports as required.
- Provide training, advice, and support to plant personnel regarding quality procedures and systems.
- Support quality activities across multiple plant locations when required. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An engineering or technical background, or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar quality role.
- Experience with measurement techniques and inspection equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
