Customer Service/Technical Support (Sydney) (Haymarket)

The Opportunity We’re looking for a technically minded professional to join our Sydney based team in our customer service team. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will:
- Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders involving technical components (valves, fittings, regulators, etc.)
- Provide first-line technical support and product selection guidance to customers
- Record detailed communication notes using SAP and Zendesk
- Manage enquiries and resolve first level technical customer issues with a focus on problem-solving
- Develop strong technical relationships with customers across Australia and New Zealand
- Collaborate with our Sales. Engineering and Field Service teams as part of a cross functional technical support structure What’s in It for You?

- Mechanical aptitude or technical background in any industry
- Prior experience in internal sales/customer service
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail in data entry and documentation
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-based approach Requirements
