Job Title: Store Manager Company: QE Foodstores Location: Sydney, Australia Full time position Salary: $77,000 to $85,000 plus super About the Role: As a Store Manager, you are required to oversee all services to ensure that business needs are being met. You are responsible for the overall accountability of the company’s business requirements, playing a key role in supporting the daily operations of QE Foodstores while also engaging directly with clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Stock management
- ensuring availability of stock, placing orders, controlling wastage and stock turnover.
- Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.
- Oversee product displays to ensure they are attractive, strategically placed, and in line with promotional campaigns.
- Selling and direct marketing of products to customers.
- Managing service staff to ensure desired customer satisfaction levels are met.
- Set reportable metrics to measure and maintain performance and health of the store
- Identify opportunities for business growth, whether through store expansion, product range diversification, or market expansion.
- Providing direction, feedback, and performance reviews to staff
- Assist in recruiting and training staff on assigned responsibilities
- Liaising with staff members to determine correct responses to issues.
- Educate staff on OHS responsibilities
- Report to CEO the monthly Risk Impact Assessments including their effects and the scope of the report
- Manage all external service providers and review yearly contracts as needed to be able to maximize profitability
- Understand how to make changes to the company knowledge base to anticipate the needs of your team
- Develop a standard operating procedure handbook and a marketable service catalogue for customers Skills, experience and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject plus at least one year of relevant work experience or three years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills and adept problem solvers.
- Working knowledge of Windows computers, essential programs, and performance metrics applications
- Enterprise Agreement (EA) knowledge to guarantee proper and qualified support parameters
- Set reportable metrics to measure and maintain performance and health of the company's service department
