Senior Financial Accountant (CBD)

Your new role Reporting directly to the CFO, this Senior Accountant takes ownership of month-end close, financial reporting and balance sheet integrity across the business. You'll play a key role in strengthening controls, driving process improvements, and supporting senior leadership with clear financial insight.
- Lead end-to-end month-end close, including review of journals, reconciliations, and P&L; and balance sheet analysis
- Prepare monthly management reporting and support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis
- Own balance sheet integrity and financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal governance
- Support tax compliance, year-end reporting and audit processes in coordination with external advisers
- Oversee working capital, cash flow forecasting, fixed assets and other technical accounting matters What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be CA or CPA qualified with 3–5 years' experience in a similar role with the ability to lead month-end with limited supervision. Experience in construction or infrastructure will be ideal. Big 4 or mid-tier background will also be highly regarded. What you'll get in return
