Job Description Our Outside School Hours Care service, Helping Hands Yarrilee , is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is an permanent part time opportunity offering 30 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. You will work across split shifts, Monday to Friday. Service hours include:
- Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
- Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm About your new role Get ready for an exciting opportunity to co-manage a dynamic team of Educators, where you’ll experience the perfect blend of support and leadership growth! - Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft
- whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration What's in it for you?

- Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check Next steps? We do things a bit differently here at JAG.
