**About the Role** **We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Food Services Assistant at Bert Newton Retirement Village in Highett. This is a **part time position** working either of the following shifts: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 0930
- 1430

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 0930
- 1430

Our FSA's professionally and courteously serve food and beverages to the residents during meal times, morning & afternoon teas and at relevant functions.

You must have an eye for detail as in this role you're responsible for our table settings in the dining and lounge areas. You will also assist with any food preparation in the serveries
- including plating and heating of meals. You'll also be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas and making our dinnerware sparkle!

**About You**

- A reliable, friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
- Have a strong focus on food hygiene and cleanliness
- Food Safety Certificate is required
- Knowledge of proper dining etiquette
