Systems Analyst Your new team Our Group Finance team sits at the heart of Auto & General's financial operations, driving accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement across the business. This close-knit team partners with Technology and external vendors to ensure our financial systems are best-in-class. The role As our Systems Analyst, you'll be the functional owner and subject matter expert for our TechnologyOne ERP (Financials) platform — the backbone of our Group Finance operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll bridge the gap between finance, technology and our external partners, driving system enhancements, process improvements and ERP governance across the organisation.
- Own the functional management, maintenance and continuous improvement of TechnologyOne Financials and associated finance systems
- Serve as the primary SME and thought leader for finance systems across Group Finance projects and initiatives
- Steward the Chart of Accounts, ensuring integrity and alignment with business needs
- Identify, analyse and manage the remediation of system-related issues in collaboration with Technology teams and external partners
- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives, leveraging existing platforms to drive better business outcomes
- Identify future finance system needs and translate them into actionable solutions
- Develop change management materials and deliver user training on financial systems
- Act as the key interface between Group Finance, IT and external finance system partners What experience you'll bring
- Demonstrated expertise with TechnologyOne ERP (Financials) — this is essential and non-negotiable for this role
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance systems, ERP analyst, or business systems analyst role
- Strong functional knowledge of financial processes and ERP configuration, administration and support
- Proven ability to analyse complex system and business process issues and deliver practical solutions
- Experience in business process mapping, design and documentation
- Background in ERP implementations, upgrades or finance transformation programs (highly regarded)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with a natural consultative style — comfortable working across all levels of an organisation
- Experience within Financial Services or insurance (advantageous)
- CA/CPA qualified, or degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field Location Close to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of up-to-date collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues.
