Operations Manager (Toowong)

**THE ROLE**

We have an exciting opportunity for a naturally driven leader to join the team at our Scape Toowong and St Lucia locations as a dual-site Operations Manager.

Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of an asset or assets to ensure exceptional customer experience and the achievement of business priorities. Operations Managers play a critical leadership role ensuring that team members understand the expectations of their role and have the skills and knowledge required to meet those expectations.
- Plan and manage resource levels to deliver high-quality customer service and operations
- Oversee and deliver on-site training for new customer service team members
- Manage the collection, distribution, and ongoing development of all relevant reporting requirements related to the property
- In liaison with the Facilities team, support the preparation and expenditure of facilities management budgets (both operational and capital expenditure)
- In liaison with the Wellness and Hygiene team, maintain high standards of property presentation in both common areas and rooms
- Management of residential leases and compliance with QLD Residential Tenancy Authority, including management of rent arrears that meet the identified company target
- Control of operational costs that deliver on-budget performance.
- Meet or exceed budgeted short-term and long-term revenue targets
- Support property specific Sales and Marketing campaigns

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

We are seeking an authentic people leader who is highly motivated to deliver a outstanding student experience, by working alongside a team while fostering an inclusive and collaborative approach.

In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Minimum 5-years’ experience in a customer service/operations leadership role
- Prior experience managing strong effective teams
- Ability to monitor and control financials and budgets
- Have a good understanding of the QLD residential tenancy act and compliance requirements
