Finance Reporting Analyst (Toowong)

**Purpose of the Role**

The Finance Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the finance team through optimisation of financial reporting and analysis. This position is responsible for analyzing business requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective utilization of finance reporting to meet the needs of the finance department and the broader organization.

**Position Accountabilities**
- Analyse business needs, translating them into functional reporting tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, guiding on automation best practices.
- Support Corporate and Group Finance with analysis and insights.
- Engage with leaders to configure systems for automation.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for training.
- Contribute expertise to projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated on finance systems and regulations. Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance.

**Qualifications and Experience**: Essential:

- 3-5 years' relevant experience in a comparable business.
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in systems, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Experience in full financial model delivery and understanding of performance management cycles.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Power BI reporting experience preferred.
- Willingness to adapt to new technology and flexible work arrangements.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred:

- Experience with TM1 or similar finance reporting tools.
