The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and technology solutions to support business operations and client requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Research, analyse, and evaluate software requirements and specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.
- Write, modify, integrate, and debug software code.
- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and database solutions.
- Identify and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, system manuals, and operational procedures.
- Participate in software testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure software solutions meet security, reliability, and scalability standards. Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in:
- Software Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- or a closely related field. Work Experience Required
- At least 1 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation. Required Skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, PHP, or similar.
- Experience with software development methodologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of databases, APIs, and web technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and within collaborative environments. Desirable Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
