**Finance Business Partner
- Claims & Assessing**
**The Role**: This 12-month fixed-term contract for a Finance Business Partner
- Claims & Assessing presents a valuable opportunity within our expanding business. You will be instrumental in informing and supporting key performance delivery and execution across our Motor and Home Claims & Assessing Division. We are always keen to identify and retain talented individuals, and whilst this specific role is fixed-term, we would certainly be open to exploring potential future opportunities across the organisation as they emerge.
**Your New Team**:You will join our dynamic Corporate Finance team, specifically within Finance Business Partnering. Working closely with Senior Finance Business Partners and Divisional leadership, you'll play a crucial role in driving profitability and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to Finance and Divisional Leadership on commercial constructs and business initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement by leading systems and process enhancements within Finance Business Partnering.
- Leverage data, systems, and software to conduct in-depth analysis, identify performance opportunities, and provide clear insights to leadership.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support new business initiatives and inform business cases.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial and managerial reports, including monthly management, operational, and Board reporting.
- Analyse financial implications and risks of projects, educating stakeholders and translating findings into operational results.
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across Finance, Customer & Data, and wider business teams to ensure objective delivery.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Formal qualifications in a relevant area and CA/CPA accreditation.
- At least five years' experience in a senior finance role in a comparable organisation.
- Specific experience in the Banking, Finance or Insurance industry, with knowledge of current regulatory, commercial, technology, and operational trends.
- Strong capabilities with systems and data manipulation tools (ideally SQL, TM1, Big Query, Power BI, PowerPivot etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data visualisation.
- Experience in a Claims and Assessing function in a comparable organisation is highly regarded.
