Accounts Payable Officer (Toowong)

**The Role**

**Accounts Payable functions including**:

- Processing all supplier invoices
- Employee expense reimbursements
- Corporate credit card uploads
- Supplier enquiries
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to maintain a high level of integrity
- Continuous improvement of accounts payable processes
- Assisting with ad hoc accounts tasks

**Additional responsibilities**:

- Ongoing development of procedures to improve current processes, enhancing business efficiency
- Assisting in the preparation of annual external and internal audits
- Supporting End of Financial Year close-off
- Participating in business projects as directed by the Accounts Manager
- Complying with workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols
- WHS is everyone’s responsibility

**What Experience You’ll Bring**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Experience working in a large office environment
- Understanding of GST requirements
- Proficient and accurate data entry skills
- Competent in MS Excel, MS Word, Gmail, and integrated financial software packages
- Experience with Finance One and Concur (desirable)
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong time and self-management skills
- Ability to take responsibility, be a team player, logical, and organised
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of people
