SEO Analyst (Toowong)

**The role**

We’re looking for an experienced SEO analyst to join the Digital Marketing & Aggregation team. Working for an award-winning challenger brand, Auto & General Australia/Budget Direct, you will be responsible for driving SEO performance improvements as part of a multi-discipline team reporting to the Senior Manager for SEO & Content within the broader Marketing, Media & Acquisition department.
- Measure, monitor and maximise Budget Direct organic search traffic.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement onsite and offsite improvements to Budget Direct’s website and other web assets such as the Chasing Cars website.
- Provide SEO guidance as part of the development of new products, or changes to existing sites and products.
- Collaborate with colleagues responsible for content, design, and development to deliver
- World-class SEO performance with a focus on driving real business outcomes.
- Audit and update pages’ meta data and Schema markup as needed.
- Monitor offsite search engine ranking signals and analyse competitor activity to assess opportunities and threats.
- Keep up to date with SEO and Content Marketing trends and research, as well as the impacts of the changing search engine environment and emerging technologies on our SEO strategy.
- Ensure compliance of all SEO activities with organisational policies and standards and with relevant statutory requirements.
- Report on key SEO metrics to stakeholders across the business.
- Work with internal teams to brainstorm and develop content ideas based on business priorities, opportunities, input and direction.

**What experience you’ll bring**
- 3 + years of SEO and analytics experience with proven success in maintaining and improving Google SERP for an enterprise commercial brochureware site.
- Significant experience in interpreting SEO reporting metrics and analytical understanding to develop new recommendations for improved ranking.
- Strong interpretation and problem solving skills.
- Creativity in delivering optimal SEO improvement strategies.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple and competing tasks
