Portfolio Insights Analyst (Toowong)

**Purpose of the role**:

- The Portfolio Insights Analyst will provide support for the monitoring and analytics function of the Product division. The role will support the data preparation, build of meaningful dashboards, automation of reporting suite, and providing valuable business insights. _

**Position accountabilities**
- _Update, maintaining and enhance the reporting suite. _
- _Provide support in the development of new monitoring dashboards. _
- _Identifying, reporting, and analysing emerging trends. _
- _Performing analytical investigations to generate actionable insights. _
- _Understanding sources of data, its limitations, and common uses within the team. _
- _Managing and manipulating very large and complex data sets. _
- _Monitoring and reporting on the progress of pricing and product changes. _
- _Performing other relevant activities as requested from time to time to meet operational requirements. _

**_Qualifications and Experience _**
- _A superior problem-solving ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. _
- _Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. _
- _Programming acumen (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python, R). _
- _Previous knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI/Tableau and MS Office suite. _
- _Tertiary qualification in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, data science or related discipline. _
- _Previous experience within General Insurance is highly advantageous._
