Due to an exciting company transformation, our client is seeking a Technical Lead Developer to join the team.

If you’re after a sea change from mainland Australia, happy to work remotely with Travel once a month or are locally based in Tasmania, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Client is looking for a Technical Full-Stack Developer Lead for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Located in Hobart, this is a Hybrid setup. You will lead a squad of Senior Developers and Developers.

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering, orequivalent experience.

At least 5+ years of relevant hands‑on experience in a full-stack development role.

Experience leading a development team.

Robust analytical and problem‑solving skills, and an aptitude to pick up and learn current things quickly.

Required Technical Skills

C# and .NET (Framework/Core).

Entity Framework.

Unit testing and general automated testing.

DevOps principles and practices.

Git.

Desirable Technical Skills

Infrastructure-as-Code tools, such as Bicep, ARM or Terraform.

Ability to work effectively in a Scrum team and lead fellow engineers.

Knowledge of common design patterns and when to use them appropriately.
