Relocation Opportunity Surveyor - Mackay (Hobart)

**The Opportunity**

$15,000 worth of relocation and/or rental assistance is available for the first 12 months.

The primary purpose of the role is to win work and lead people, whilst delivering great projects to clients, minimising project risk and contributing to skilled service delivery. The role also plays a key part in leading and fostering a collaborative culture in the Cairns office and North Queensland region, whilst mentoring and developing others within Veris.

We’d like you to liaise with client contacts on site as and when required to establish project continuity, and lead service delivery to clients, as requested, undertake and participate in consultations with clients, develop and lead project proposals and manage projects in accordance with the Veris systems.

**About You**

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:

- Proven skills and experience in land development projects including the survey and preparation of subdivision, lease, easement and identification surveys plans.
- Registration with Surveyors Board of Queensland
- Ability to work systematically to achieve quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to work within, and lead, a team of professionals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and to travel.
- The ability to understand and successfully deliver upon client needs.
