Recruitment Officer Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) Statewide, Tasmania | Full Time | Level 4–5 (TAC Enterprise Agreement) About the role The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) is seeking a Recruitment Officer to support the attraction, recruitment and onboarding of staff across our organisation. This is a key role where you will coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, support managers, and ensure a culturally safe, positive experience for all candidates. About you You are highly organised, approachable and detail-focused. You enjoy working with people and can manage multiple recruitment processes at once, while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Key responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment across TAC
- Prepare and publish job advertisements
- Manage applications, shortlisting and interview coordination
- Support managers with recruitment processes and decisions
- Coordinate pre-employment checks
- Maintain accurate records and HR system data

- Experience in recruitment coordination or administration
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information Desirable:
- Experience in a community-controlled or not-for-profit organisation
- Experience with HRIS or recruitment systems
- Understanding of Aboriginal community-controlled organisations Requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- National Police Check
- Working with Vulnerable People Card

- $96,000 pa + Salary Packaging
