Add expected salary to your profile for insights As RACT continues to grow its advocacy and community engagement, we have a unique opportunity for someone to join our team on a 12-month contract as a Program Coordinator working across two key projects: Bushfire Resilience and Youth Road Safety. RACT's advocacy program plays an key role in representing the interests of Tasmanians. This role is a key support position within the small but ambitious team, helping to keep our government relations and community engagement activities running smoothly. You'll work closely with the broader Member Experience team and the office of the Group CEO, contributing to meaningful work that makes a real difference for our members and the wider Tasmanian community. Some of your accountabilities will include: Maintain accurate record management systems, ensuring government and stakeholder correspondence is appropriately managed and filed. Monitor and prioritise incoming inquiries and requests, making sound judgements and recommendations as needed. Arrange stakeholder meetings and provide supporting coordination to ensure engagements run seamlessly. Assist with organising community events, including coordinating logistics and preparation requirements. Assist in the preparation of high-level presentations for external meetings. Provide broad administrative support across advocacy projects, including updating project plans, tracking expenses, maintaining stakeholder registers, and collating evaluation data. Support the development of submissions and reports as required. Handle all sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Proactively identify and report risks and comply with RACT's risk management frameworks.
