Maintenance Officer (Hobart)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all marine assets across our Tasmanian locations. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a energetic environment, carry out maintenance work and support ongoing projects reporting to our Maintenance Manager. The full-time position is located based out of a Margate site. What does a typical week consist of?
- Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance on vessels and equipment to prevent issues and correct any that arise.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems to maintain peak performance.
- Site Travel: Traveling between various sites to conduct maintenance work and support project activities.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Spare Parts Management: Sourcing and managing spare parts inventory to ensure availability when needed. What will you bring to the team?

- Electrical Knowledge: Basic understanding of *****V electrical systems is preferred.
